Monday June 24th — Setting the Context

Meet the MOLLI 2019 Cohort. Join your team and begin to address the Institute Team Challenge. Wendy Gilbert will introduce Online Learning Leadership in Maryland.

Members of last year's cohort will present the results of their annual projects.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. MJ Bishop
Dr. Bishop is Associate Vice Chancellor and inaugural Director of the University System of Maryland's William E. Kirwan Center for Academic Innovation.

Tuesday June 25th — Personal Leadership

Day 2 will focus on the development of participants' personal and team leadership competencies. Outcome: Personal Leadership Development Plan.

Morning Activity: Walking tour of Annapolis
Join Doug for an early morning tour of some of the historic locations of Annapolis. (Optional)

Dinner Activity: Night on the town
Eat dinner with other participants at one of Annapolis' selection of restaurants and stroll through the beautiful colonial town for shopping or after dinner conviviality.

Wednesday June 26th — Managing Change

A discussion of the importance of positive change: Change is a constant in both our personal and professional lives. Some change is positive: marriage, a promotion, a new job. Some change is not positive: failed projects, failed relationships, lost job. An understanding of the change process will make us stronger and more resilient as leaders.

Featured Speaker: Secretary of Higher Education, Dr. James D. Fielder, Jr.
Dr. Fielder is a highly regarded executive and public servant with a passion for leading change that is focused on improving the economic well-being of Marylanders through educational and business opportunity.

Thursday June 27th — Future Thoughts

Presentation of the cohort's Team Challenge and planning for the year to come.

Dr. Melton is the former Associate Vice Chancellor of Emerging Technology for the Tennessee Board of Regents.
